While at Reading University, I continued to make use of discarded objects. Weathered wood, metal panels, sheets of plastic were drug into my studio and became surfaces for painting on. Other found objects like hand tools, branches, wood, and even prosthetic legs found a place in my assemblages. I continued to use stencils and make scratch paintings on old sheets of glass and windows. The images were mainly focused on self-portraits as a tourist. This led to the series of scratch painting, painted wooden panels, and even a doll of myself. I was also introduced to Poloraid manipulation techniques and began a series during my travels. I also filled a set of self-made sketchbooks that documented the sites and experiences abroad. Much of this work was given to anyone in Reading and even installed in the local wooded area.
